Alan Feldman - District Governor Nominee Designate
- Alan has been a member of Brandon Rotary since 1975 and was Brandon President in 2007-8
- With the help of his wife, Melanie, they operate Feldman's Photography specializing in custom portraiture and the restoration of damaged photographs and the transfer of movies to DVD
- They are part owners of MuseumBond a photograph and art print canvassing operation located in Tampa and owns YourArtSource.com, a web site representing over 500 international artists
- Alan & Melanie have been married since 1989 and have a combined family of five children and one granddaughter
- Alan is a Master Photographer and has taught photography to thousands of other professional photographers throughout the US and many foreign countries
- Alan & Melanie's biggest professional honor was being asked to represent the United States by teaching, in Ireland and Austria, at the first two World Congresses of Professional Photography every held
- Professionally Alan has been President of the Mid-Florida Professional Photographers, was on the Board of Directors at the International Photographer's Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of Florida, Senior Photographers International, and an honorary member of the British Photographers Association for his educational contribution to the photographers of England, Wales and Scotland
- Prior to becoming a professional photographer he was a Customer Service Manager with General Telephone Company for 18 years and also owned Florida Scuba Diving Institute and A&R Salvage & Bargain Center both located in Tampa
- Alan grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and is a graduate of FSU with a major in Business
- The Feldman's main hobby is foreign travel. They especially love exploring third world places such as Africa, Egypt, Morocco, China, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Ecuador, Israel, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Currently he is working on a book for a major publisher entitled "Faces of the World"
- Alan enjoys community service. He was on the Board of the Brandon Chamber for 11 years, a past Eagle Scout and District Chairman for the Boy Scouts, helped build Center Place in Brandon, is a past board member of the American Cancer Society, a past Honorary Mayor of Brandon and one of the original guarantors of Rotary Camp Florida. He is currently the Chairman and coordinator of Project C.U.R.E. for 6890
